Feeling very American

With Bush's SOTU in two days, the Superbowl in a week (Go Steelers!!!), and the Oscars coming up sometime in the next month, I'm getting a little obsessed with trying to find a way to watch a little American TV. My little apartment TV carries only the four Czech channels, so that's no help. I've been searching for a US-catering bar (with all the tourism you'd think there'd be a few), but so far no luck. :-(

go seahawks!! ;-) [always with the underdogs]...
your laundry experience reminded me of the time when my roomie at msr used dish liquid in the dishwasher... nothing like half a foot of bubbles on the kitchen floor! any luck with finding a US-catering bar? do they have tvs in bohemia bagels (the one near josefov)? that's probably the most american place i can think of in prague (of course, macd & kfc don't count)...

Actually, I was introduced (by email) to a friend of a friend living here in Prague. He knows a bunch of expats from the US, and a bunch are planning on watching the Superbowl. So I'll have a little company. :-)

Not sure about Bohemia Bagel (it's close to where I live) since the hours will be pretty late (kickoff at midnight!), but there are some Wenceslas Sqr-area bars which are advertising the game.
