The riad has free internet here, and Ves has his laptop so that's super convenient, not that I expect to spend a lot of time online. Nice to know though. The riad is something recommended by his Lonely Planet guide, and it's incredible, including what's reported in the guide to be the best view of the medina. It's basically a large home, with five rooms for rent. Owned by an American woman and run by a young Brit-Dutch couple, amazing decor and hospitality, great locations... etc etc. It will be $113 each for both of the two nights, which is fairly high for Moroccan standards... but we're living, as my boyfriend would say, like kings. Though I'll go with queens. :-)
Best of all, perhaps, is a great roof deck with a spectacular view of the huge Fes medina. It's going to be a great two days, and I already know they're going to go by too quickly!
